Japan is one of the regions that have soya bean food culture, as it is showed well with tofu, miso, shoyu(soy sauce) and natto(fermented soya beans) etc.. 

This simple and old fashioned (gluten-free, dairy-free) sweet dumpling is called o-dango.  Mix shiratamako(sweet rice flour) with silken-tofu(soyabean curd) to make soft and sticky texture balls, and boil them, served with sweet shoyu(soy sauce) flavoured sauce & kinako(roasted soyabean flour)

It is the cube of soya!
